Chrome OS got Android support well over two years ago for select devices. Since then, you could run Android VPN apps, but integration with Chrome OS at the system level was non-existent. …Until now.

For those on the beta channel, Chrome OS 63 adds support for system-level integration with Android VPN apps.

No longer do you have to rely on proxy-based extensions to connect to a secure VPN.

To enable, enter this Chrome flag: chrome://flags#arc-vpn

Chrome OS 64 will introduce a GUI toggle for Android/Chrome VPN integration.
