In this week in Solus – Install #41, sole maintainer Ikey has been working hard on the Linux Driver Management tool. The initial version will include always-on Optimus support for switchable graphics.

The MediaWiki has also been replaced with a more user-friendly Help Center for users to navigate any documentation that will help them for programs bundled in the OS.

More can be read on their blog here.

Personally, I’m excited for the always-on support for Optimus cards. Now, if Solus would properly support my secondary NVIDIA GPU, I’d switch back to it in an instant.
